Suhanna Saini

Suhanna Saini is a high school student at the Pathways School, India. As someone who is passionate about utilizing her privilege to make efforts towards grassroot change, she founded Check In to promote young girls and women taking their health issues into their own hands. Following her interest in public health, Suhanna has participated in the ‘Nutrition’ course at Boston University Summer Challenge in addition to completing the ‘Anatomy, Physiology and Disease’ course offered by the Johns Hopkins University Pre-College summer school, amongst other academic programs. Suhanna has also demonstrated her skills in taking initiative by founding Panache, the health, fitness, and lifestyle club at her school while also being the Captain of Earth House. 

Apart from this, she is also a member of the core team of the enrichment clusters program at Pathways, where she helps club leaders in mindful organization of school activities. She also enjoys writing, and has submitted award-winning entries to the Young Minds Essay Contest, Immerse Education Essay Competition and the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition. Furthermore, she has attended academic competitions such as SOF (Science Olympiad Foundation) and English Olympiad (IEO). Suhanna is also inclined towards singing, playing the piano, and equestrianism.
